A Year of Revelation

Praise be to God!  Last year, we witnessed a season of new!  We saw new disciples, new ministries being risen, new ways of God's Word being proclaimed, and new souls being saved because of it.  We saw newness like never before.  In the midst of the chaos, we saw God-ordained businesses started.  Marriages were saved.  New families were created in Christ.  On the flip side, we saw demonic ties cut, separations for the protection of church, and more courageous people stepping away from their old selves to allow to grow them.  We saw a new thing being done.  Disciples are being pushed into new dimensions and wrapped in new robes.  With new dimensions, however, comes new knowledge and revelation of who God Is and what He Is doing.

God has prophesied that this year will be a new season - a year of revelation.  A year of exposure for both believers and nonbelievers.  When Christ walked the earth, one of the things that happened was that people were being saved not just through acts of physical healing but through new revelations of Who God Is and when it meant to be saved.  When God Is in the midst of doing new things,  He pours out new knowledge and understanding of what is going on around us.

In this year, stay open in your mind and spirit.  After testing the spirits, receive what God is exposing through both the old and young.  Joel 2:28 says, "I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions."  Stay open, stay ready, and stay rooted.  We are in a year of revelation.
